Andy... I totally agree with you. I mean, while the big-time
massive's aren't my favorite events, they still bring people and some kick-ass
music together. Realistically, it's gonna be next to impossible (too
expensive) to get some of the big-name talent out here without having a huge
event. Sure, it might be commercial, it might be expensive, it might bring
irresponsible people that give the scene a bad-wrap. But hey, as long as
YOU'RE out there, doing YOUR thing, finding YOUR own groove, and dancing to some
kick-ass music... all that shouldn't matter. So... my thanks goes out to
Coolworld, and all the other big promoters... and all the small-time
promoters too for that matter (DROP THE BASS!!!)... cuz it's you guys that throw
the events that bring us together.
As for
New Years for me? Heh heh, don't wanna gloat, but my ass is gonna be in
LONDON, celebrating New Years with the British at a Ministry of Sound party at

i want to go to planet new year cuzza the dope ass lineup but tickets are kinda expensive so i'll think about that for a bit longer. i'll prolly just end up going to like four raves in LA while im down there for the same price as planet new year. people on this list like to talk shit on coolworld too cuz all their events are so commercial and "for the masses." undergrounders can be overly proud and stuck up like that... but wut can you do.. after all, it's all about the music right?
