I IMAGINED...

...being picked up by a friend's friend...who i learned to be buddies with.
he hooked me up with the ride and hooked him up as a guest in return.
listened to some hiphop intrumental tracks that i made as we proceeded to
the mappoints. when we got to the shuttle point, a white shuttle van picked
us up and informed us that this party was for free (if a blanket/jacket and
food was brought) so ya...it was a hell of a suprise! the party was for the
"children of the night" aka all the party people.

...arriving at the venue at the beginning of tom slik's set, as usual, this
guy kicked ass behind the decks. i was amazed by the decorations, lights
and art work. as i made my way around the venue towards the back, i was so
glad to see cocoa and nik, gosh its been a while ever since ive seen u
girls...also saw nicole and ethel. then....i finally saw Jamie...god its
been a hell of a long time ever since weve kicked it and partied. i was so
glad to see you again. they had a lil room in the back called the "mad tEa
party room" where you can make candy; a table full of beads and string. hah,
i tried making one of those flower looking ones..but dammit i forgot, its
been a WHILE...jamie star...HELP! hehe.

...going outside to catch some air, there was an outdoor area for smoking
and chilling and stuff. they had a heater which everyone was trying to get
close to because it was so damn cold. so i went back and saw Jo and
Clay...guys who went to my high school, glad to see you guys...also Khoi and
two of his friends. i also met two fine ladies that night, Holly and Tara,
so nice to meet these girls. me and these people got into the lil dance
circles we summed up. i saw some of the best dancers the scene has to
offer, including Vanessa, the house chick, u rock girl! And this one asian
girl, had her hair tied up, with pink highlights. every now and then, i'd
grab my camera and record away; im watching it right now as i type this
email.

...my natural high getting at its peak. tracer, dyloot, and impulse's set
kicked ass, they put on some old school tracks including the block in the
black, mira, and madagascar. dyloot blew my mind when i heard him play one
of my fav songs of all time: "X Static" by Don Esteban. For those who
received a copy of my CD...that track is in there, so enjoy it! After
Impulse's set, i decided to rest for a while outside where i can get some
air and chill. I overheard Anthony Mad play the raver's anthem...hah, that
song totally draws in a crowd. outside, i met michelle...so nice to meet
her. all i remember was falling half asleep outside, my red bull and white
chocolate mocha from starbucks started to wear off...

...being a little bit replenished from my little rest. after Anthony Mad's
set, the long awaited Denise came up. This girl rocked the house like no
other. Started her set out with that song that goes "the house gets warm
warm warm." I have the name in her tape somewhere, but i cant find it right
now. anyways, i was back to dancing, walking around, taking pictures, and
camcording. then, Kid Carson came up, this kid has skills behind the decks.
he knows how to use the mixer well. during carson's set, HK Marty would
jump in and put in some tracks. i wasnt sure who it was but they put on some
old skool house....including that song that went "Aring king king" or
whatever..hehe. o ya...they also put on escape by kaycee.

...chillin for the rest of the night, dancing every once in a while. nick
griffin closed the night away, along with impulse. duckee busted out with
krispy kreme. i was hella suprised even more. i havent had a krispy kreme
donut in months...ohhh, what a life saver. thanks unity! it was around 6:30
in the morning...the music still playing and people started to bounce.
brian and i decided to bounce too so we did....made it to the shuttle and
off to the bart station. got to the car and i was on my way home....i could
hear my bed calling me...

THANK YOUs: i want to say a great big ass THANK YOU to the UNITY crew, and
everyone who made the party possible. This party had been one of the most
memorable and one of the best parties that ive been to so far. i loved
it...the whole atmosphere, vibe, music and people. i couldnt stop smiling
the whole night through. Thank you to Alison from Unity, for hooking me up
with the Invite and the info on this party. I will be sure to send you a
copy of the pic we took after i get them developed. Thank you to all the
DJs that provided the cuts. Thank you to the friendly people that made my
night possible..esp to cocoa, nik, nicole, ethel, Peech, Jamie Star, Holly
and Tara, Michelle (no i wont forget your name), Jo, Clay, Khoi (hook me up
with the optical mouse..hehe, email me) and his buddies, to Brian for the
ride..i appreciate it man. and so much more...if i forgot anyone, im sorry,
it takes a while for me to remember names. Much love to all of you and God
bless. to those who received a copy of my CD...i hope you like it. its
homemade, fresh out of my ghetto studio from my bedroom...so ya, keep up
with me, hehe. =D if you guys need a track listing....dont hesitate to give
me an email, i'll reply with the quickness. k..well...i just woke up so
