hey party ppl.... i guess this would be my first review i eva wrote to the list... my first review for anything for that matah... but i just gotta comment on this party i went to last friday... im not gonna get into too much detail of what or who was at the party, i think paul covered that one.... i think im just gonna tell ya what i thought of it... lets see... where to start..... i tell ya... i haven't been to a party like this.... since... well.... ever... heh.... since i started raving i been to about a 100 parties.... and latley... i been losin faith in this scene... yeah... i know... its bad... but i just wasn't seein no light at the end of the tunnel, ya know? i been waitin for this party since last year... since i couldn't make it to that one... i've heard so much about last years... and i weasled my way into gettin an invitation this year... (i kinda begged actually... heh...yeah... its low... but i really really wanted to go, so alison from unity hooked me up...WHOOP WHOOP!!!) i was on the 2nd shuttle there.... its funny.... i know y'all know when u find a good party.... u know its gonna be good when u walk into the door and u feel the vibe just radiating everywhere... from everyone... heh.... i started feelin that same vibe when i stepped outa my car... and started walkin to the shuttle point... and even in the shuttle... it was gettin hype... i haven't felt like that in a long time..... everybody at that party... i mean everybody... contributed to the vibe of that party.... this party.... this party was what it was all about.... the musik... the vibe... and the ppl.... heh... i was just amazed at how everybody understood that..... and here i thought i was alone....i thought that nobody thought like i did... well... i was wrong... way wrong.... this party restored my faith in the scene... kinda made me believe again, u could say....this party is the way it should be.... all parties should be like this.... i have never met more dedicated ravers then alison and duckee from Unity....a special shot out goes to them for restoring my faith.... ya know.. a lot of ppl say that the scene is dying... some say take it to the underground... some say let it die... and some say it will just fade away.... but with ppl like alison and duckee... heh... it'll never end.... i can't stress enough how much time and effort those 2 and all the others that helped with party put in..... u could see how much heart went into that party... how much attention that was paid to every lil detail... heh... u could even hear it in their voices... when was the last time u heard somebody show passionate about the rave scene, so passionate about anything for that matah? i guess most ppl never do... but i had the pleasure of seeing, hearing, and talking to ppl that were a billion times more passionate about it then i was..this party was truly made by the ppl for the ppl, ya know?.... it inspires to step up....and be like one of them...... wow... this is getting pretty long now... if u've made it this far... then well... congrats...just one more thing... i really wanna give a special thanks to the Unity crew, the dj's, and ALL the party ppl that were there, u showed me what it was all about....
