I just thought I'd add my own personal flavor to this interesting
conversation about music...

Regarding ALL kinds of music that colors our scene... from drum&bass,
trance, "acid" as was discussed earlier, and even "foo foo trance"...

Sometimes there is more to liking a song, or a genre of music, than just the
actual notes and sound effects you hear.
Almost as important are the memories you have attached to it.

When I was a lot younger, I disliked most "electronic" type music...

But when I started going to parties and meeting wonderful raver people (like
u guys! ^_~), suddenly Trance became my personal favorite. When I go to a
party these days, many trance songs don't catch my attention... but for
example, when I hear ANYTHING from Mars&Mystre's Faith in 2000 I go BONKERS,
and almost blow cuz I'm sooo happy! :) The best part is remembering that
first time you felt the room blow up when the DJ played the song. ^_^_^_^

So anyway, I just thought I'd send out a message of tolerance... each person
has memories they treasure as well. I'll bet most of us, at some time or
another in our lives, had a smile on our face as the DJ played FOO FOOOOO!!!
