How's it goin'? Sorry I haven't sent off an update in a while, it's cuz I've been having some time off recently! Anyways as you know this weekend is 4/20 weekend... which means, time to smoke up!!! If you do, I suppose. (Those 2 little marks in the subject heading are supposed to be slanted eyes, if you know what I mean... okay I failed at making that clear!) Well anyhow here's my gig for the weekend:
Saturday, 4/20 - ACME presents HERBONIUM - This is the crew that brings you the weekly Ascensions and brought you Looney Tunes last November & Herbonium last 4/20! This is a small, intimate, 200-person *underground* event that'll be bumpin' into the wee hours of the morning! ('wee,' not 'wee-wee' for all you non-potty-trained ravers. huh?) Headlining the event will be trance DJ Shazad from Colorado, voted 'Best Trance DJ' by the Colorado Electronic Music Association. Joey Mazzola & I (Denise) will be spinning an exclusive 4-hour-20-minute tag team set, from midnight until 4:20am! Yee-haw!!!! We'll be crawling on the ground trying to mix in our records by the end of this one! It should definitely be interesting. Also spinning: Andrew Phelan, Gianni, Braq, Alex van Dune, Dave Parlier, John Kim, Fuckwork, Ice-9, Loren David.
