To All Friends, Family, & Supporters; This last weekend The Fiction Family suffered a great tragic loss. Our fellow friend, brother, and father Matthew Donaldson, the lead organizer of Fiction Family events has passed on. He leaves behind 2 sisters, 1 brother, and his 4 year old son Chris. Matt fell asleep at the wheel while driving after he left the coachella music festival in indio, ca. Him and some friends were going to check out the other side of the border, then drive home. After many hours in intensive care on life support, Matt was unable to recover from his injuries. Matt had just moved out here to check out the San Francisco Scene and was going to host several upcoming events here in the bay area. Many fellow friends and supporters have been working day and night to create one of the coolest fiction family undergrounds to hit SF. After many careful hours of thought and consideration, we have decided to cancel Fantasy Island which was to be held this Saturday May 4th. Were extremly sorry for the inconvienance and we apologize for having to cancel. We know many of you were looking forward to this party and so many of you had sent us so many positive emails about your involvement and or attendance. We thank everyone of you who spent your time and energy helping to make this party and your selfless efforts. If you purchased a presale ticket, please take it to the outlet you purchased it at for a full refund. WE Strongly Encourage Everyone who purchased a ticket to get a refund. We apologize for this inconvienance and we hope you all understand. Please look out for us with something in the future and send your prayers and good vibes to Matt and his family.
