To everyone here at the SFR mailing list: Hi, my name is George and I represent LuckySoul productions. I would just like to come on here to clarify certain issues regarding our upcoming event Hope. For those skeptical of the venue switch, it is true. We have had to move our location to JJ Newberry's in Oakland. We're terribly sorry that such an event had to occur. To clarify other things, I would like to say in no way, shape or form did we plan for this to happen. We are not one of those "shady" production companies whose ultimate goal in the end is to make a buck. We are a crew that wants to stick around for quite some time. With that in mind I don't believe it would be a smart move for us to intentionally tell people a lie about our original venue just to get their money. Such a move would automatically destroy our name and our reputation. Anyone who knows us or has been to one of our events knows that that is not what we are about. For those who are wondering where our original venue was, it was the Pacific Sports Center located on Mare Island in the city of Vallejo. Their address is 785 Walnut St. This was a sports complex w/ 2 soccer fields, a 6 court basket ball court, multiple batting cages, a snack area and an arcade. As you can see this was an incredible venue and it is a tragedy that it had to be taken away from us. With everything said we hope you can all still come out and support us. We love each and everyone who has supported us this past year to get where we are today. Our goal with this event was to give back which is why we decided to start selling our tickets at a mere $5. I hope that those of you who have gotten your tickets feel that even with the switch in venues, this event will still be worth the money you paid. We have put our hearts and soul into making this a magical event for everyone and now that things have taken a turn for the worst, we can only hope that you will all still be supportive of us in what we try to do.
