I once went with a bus load of people to whistler during college for a ski
trip, and when we were at the border, they swiped everyone's ID to make
sure they were legit. Well one guy's ID showed some traces of marijuana
under some light they put your ID under. Crazy! We got stopped for almost
an hour while he was fully "examined."

uhh, actually, it doesn't say anything about her sticking it in her
purse or bag. if you watch discovery, you'll see that the people who
smuggle the drugs in are very clever. sometimes sewing them in
doublewise into the seam of the lining of baggage.
you really didn't think that the pills that ppl take come solely from
the US, did you ? ;)
another frightening story, don't be surprised if those dogs smell it on
you. they'll smother the scent of drugs in a crapload of alcohol so it's
virtually indetectable by humans, but do the dogs ever spot them out.
i have a friend who went to canada recently who had emptied out his tin
that he usually put his pot in and put his allergy medicine in there.
the customs dog kept stopping right in front of him. the custom guard
gave him a 'boy are you in trouble' look everytime the dog did this
(three times). when they swabbed his headphones, they found traces of
other illegal substances exuded from the sweat of him and his friends.
pretty frightening. they released him, of course, because he wasn't
carrying any illegal substances on him.
let that be a lesson, kiddies ! don't smuggle drugs unless you can shove
them up your ass and keep your asshole airtight ! :D (that was a joke,
to you federal agents lurking out on this list)
