I am not discounting the fact that someone has died. I did not even mention the fact about the death. Of course it is a tradegy when someone dies, that goes without saying. And also, there are a lot of events advertised as "raves" which are not actually "raves". There are a lot of events advertised as being a "party" which are not actually parties ... uh ... like the weekly Wednesdays at IL Pirata. And as far as "us" as a whole ruining our scene, I do agree that there are people out there who have helped in the demise of the scene in general, but I know that there are also a lot of people/djs/production companies/promoters who are working hard to make the scene better. And I don't feel that the scene is "dead", it is just in transition ... all we can do is wait and see what the future holds, but it is not dead until the very last person gives up on our community. And as far as the media goes ... I have stated my view on the media and I know everyone else will have their own opinion of the media. And just as I mentioned how the scene hasn't been ruined by us collectively, but by certain individuals here and there, I feel the same goes for any group, organization, company, etc.. Some media good, some media bad ... so with that said, I have nothing left to say on that subject ...

As for oblivion I think they made a msitake.. but there was a holloween boat party a couple weeks ago that I was contiplating going to until I won free tickets for the ever so awesome Funky Tekno Tribe Party that same night... Both parties where advertiosed on Ravelinks... But with the lack of attention now paid to our very dead rave scene... Im not suprised that no one heard of eigther party. As for the media talking shit.. we dont need to media to ruin our scene.. we've done a great job ofruining it ourself.
