This time around I have some info on aba productions and some new promotional opportunities coming around. But i dont see that many messages would come through here and it should be fairly low traffic. You will be able to upload original tracks on the yahoogroups page and/or samples or pics. I will include some original samples on my yahoogroups page for those to download and use in their tracks if you wish also. Please let me know if you use them, just by hitting me up with an email (please email me for aba email addy, so the abusive spammers dont take over the addy) or by posting to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . I want to see how many people like the samples or not. Fourth i have been doing a radio show for some time now and would like to let you all know about a pretty good promotional opportunity, if you choose to be a part. Everyday Thursday from 7-9pm+ eastern us standard time (though the website is through the uk and the times will read Friday from 12-2 am) I do an online radio show at www.dancetraxx.com .(the radio section under audiomind) It is a well known and awesome radio station that pulls in about 30,000-50,000 hits a month. You can promote your mixes on the site as well. For a little while now, every other week i have been promoting those exceptional electronic mix cd's and original cd's (of any and all electronic genre's) on my show for everyone in the world to listen to, of artist who have sent me cd's for promotional opportunities. I play two cd's from artists who have mailed me cd's, that i feel express extremely good talent, motivation and artistic expression. I have gotten an extremely good response to this and I hope to continue it long into the future. Cheers! Five, for those in the past that have sent me cd's i applaud you. I have recvd a ton of extremely good mix cd's and original tracks from you all. Even those that never gave me an email back to ask me what i thought. I apologize if i havent gotten in touch with some of you, as i have been extremely busy myself with promoting and traveling, etc. Also in the past 6 months to 1 year, times have been mighty slow in the scene here. But from my understanding it is a nationwide and even worldwide thing going on. Turnouts have been mediocre at times and money has been dwindling and the ability to throw events. BUT..... Lately in the past 2 months, things have really begun to pick up and hopefully we can get some of you still out here to play, if you are still interested. But please send me items, cd's, and tracks for review first, so that i can decide who to bring out and who to hold back on for the time being. We here at aba review and go through everything, no matter how long it takes! Please keep it real and include a bio and picture if you have that. This along with any production credits/tracks, a well presented cd and other relevant info will receive greater attention and response than those done with less motivation. Below is just a few things i thought might be of interest to some: an email newsletter i receive weekly at www.yellowtimes.org is very thought provoking and knowledgeable on world events from a different perspective. Not for the faint at heart. I also receive a weekly news letter from www.skrufff.com magazine. Based out of the uk it is an extremely good electronic newsletter about the scene and members include many top djs and artist. The read is a once a week email info letter. Tell jonty i sent you.
