One last thing on this thread.... I just want to point out that WE (not we as american people, but our government) trained Al-Qaeda to be killers during the 80's. They decided to use that training against us. How can one think that by going in and killing more innocent civilians that this will not happen again. Whose to say that in the ashes of Iraq's defeat (because we all know that defeat is inevitable) another Saddam will rise to power whose even more terrible and hell-bent on destroying America. Whose to say Iraqi civilians won't go join a terrorist organization because they feel they can't succeed any other way. I don't know how to solve this problem but I do know that by bombing and killing, the U.S. will go even further into recession and create more terrorists who will SUCCEED in destroying the White House next time. How badly do you think that will hurt middle america? How pissed off will we all be when that happens? I know one thing... if this presidency is still in office they will try to take more advantage of the situation and pass more laws limiting our actions and expanding theirs.
also don't watch your local news.... it's stupid shit that isn't reported with integrity (at least mine isn't anyway) ... read a newspaper or watch CNN or something.... no one needs to see the murders and crime everyday, that we all know is present anyway.... go see Bowling for Clumbine if you haven't already.... everyone including the President needs to see that movie...... anywho.... I'll let it go for now WHEEEENNNN boooyyyyyy? WHEN? P.S. I was glad to see so many different DJ's setup around the protest.... I saw at least 5 or 6 different setups throughout the CIVIC center area. > the way i see it, i support the war. i think a lot of people are so quick > to forget what happened almost a year and a half ago. remember the sudden > breath that was stolen the moment you saw those towers collapse. or the > sheer grief of the nation. the burnt scorch mark on the field of one plane > where heroic americans decided to fight back. > > that's the thing. they fought back. > > it's a well-known fact that a good part of the money trail that went to > fund the horrors of 9/11 can be traced back to iraq. and that day, when all > the other countries expressed their wishes of condolence, what did hussein > say ?
