okay, so maybe that comparison was a little over the
top... and i guess the plus with corpses is that they
can be eaten by vultures (and serve SOME purpose).
(joke, btw)...

but here's the truth: i'm so sick of these so-called
ironic statements that say that if you drive an SUV
and you stand for peace, than you're suddenly a
hypocrite. and people on this list who frequent raves
should be THE FIRST to know that trash happens when
you get a shitload of people together. so i agree,
trashing the city was low class and shitty... but
let's not use something like that give the peace
movement a bad name. any way, i want to pose some
questions for people to think about (myself
included)...

first, why is the UN NOT supporting military action?
Don't you think that our government would present all
evidence supporting an attack to the UN?
with every speech i hear about "the axis of evil"
comes more distrust in our very own president. Why
haven't we (or the UN) been presented with enough HARD
FACTS? let's even just for a second assume that the
UN has seen real hard evidence; it must not be enough
to warrant an attack on Iraq. we have to keep the
role of objectivity here, that is how peace is
reached.

second, why is bush so obsessed with Saddam Hussein?
He is spending all his time trying to excite the
american public with the idea of war and completely
ignoring North Korea, who has OPENLY declared
possession of nuclear weapons, broken nuclear
agreements and repeatedly requested talks with the US.
I'm not saying we should wage war with N. Korea, but
I'm saying that his commitment to war is overshadowing
his judgment. you can't drop bombs simply because of
paranoia, weak evidence or a suspected connection to a
group we really hate.

So who's to put things into perspective when our own
president wants to go to war so bad he preaches it
like a sermon? the United Nations... and we're not
listening.

....

proceed to flame.
