I agree with Maria on this one... even if "Dame Edna" is a fictional character, Vanity Fair editors should have enough sense not to print something like that. It may be a given right that we have freedom of speech, but look at all the bullshit that gets out of trouble under that. Why should ANYONE be subjected to racist views, from a fictional character or not. Besides... on a lighter note.. it seemed like enough of an insult to the Spanish language to say that "Even George W. Bush speaks Spanish." LOL :)
