Hey guys --

I'm one of the instructors for the student-initiated class on DJ'ing at
Berkeley, and we're in the process of expanding the class.

Up till this point, the whole class, which is one of the longer running
student courses at Berkeley, has depended on the instructors hauling
tables, mixer, speakers, etc. to school every week. We are hoping to
acquire a full setup, or as much of the essentials as possible, i.e. a
pair of 1200's, that can be stored at school. From the point of view of
the instructors, we think this will go a long way towards establishing
the legitimacy of the course, and insuring that the DJ'ing class will be
around long after all of us have graduated. And despite sounding cheezy,
we all believe that we're doing a good thing here -- a lot of people want
to learn to spin, but don't even know where to begin.

We're checking around on all the usual sites like E-Bay, etc., but we
thought we should ask you guys as well. Let us know if you can help
out.

jack
