I enabled arlib for my upload of dkim-milter 2.3.2 to the Debian archives, and the 2.4.0 packages also include it. Since enabling this, I have a user who's unable to start dkim-filter. He's asked me to remove his domain from anything I make publicly available, but I've got otherwise unadulterated ltrace and strace output available, if it's helpful.
He is running with: dkim-filter -u dkim-filter -b s -M ORIGINATING -c relaxed/simple -S rsa-sha1 -d xxxxxxxxxxxx.com -s 2007 -k And his syslog shows: dkim-filter[26391]: can't initialize DKIM library. I've sent him a version of my 2.4.0 package with arlib disabled, and this starts fine. It's probably also worth noting that I've enabled DNS_UPGRADE in this build; I sent him a version with arlib but without DNS_UPGRADE to try, since the FFR enables at least one more opportunity for dkim_init() to fail. I'm still waiting for the user to try the non-DNS_UPGRADE version, but I wanted to see if anyone had any insight on this. -- Mike Markley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> You can get more with a kind word and a two-by-four than you can with a kind word. - Marcus Cole, "Ceremonies of Light & Dark" ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
