Hi, This is related to my earlier thread "dkim 2.4.1 woes on Fedora 7 x86_64"
Thanks to Murray's advice on gdb, I did the same and recompiled Tony Earnshaw's 2.4.2 with debug. I figured someone somewhere would find the same problem one day, as I'm starting to get bored with restarting the filter two or three times a day. The same version has been running fine on another server, i386.fc6, for a couple of months now. My problem is also reproducible and corroborates the error in 0x000000315ec305c5 in raise () from /lib64/libc.so.6 : *** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/dkim-filter: free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x000000000086bcf0 *** (no debugging symbols found) ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib64/libc.so.6[0x315ec70412] /lib64/libc.so.6(cfree+0x8c)[0x315ec73b1c] /usr/bin/dkim-filter[0x421a59] /usr/bin/dkim-filter[0x421cab] /usr/bin/dkim-filter[0x41ee41] /usr/bin/dkim-filter[0x40696e] /usr/bin/dkim-filter[0x413c52] /usr/bin/dkim-filter[0x410a08] /usr/bin/dkim-filter[0x40f6b9] /lib64/libpthread.so.0[0x3160c062f7] /lib64/libc.so.6(clone+0x6d)[0x315ecd0fbd] ======= Memory map: ======== Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted.
