Greetings,
I'm working on implementing DKIM for our company's outbound email. We're
using dkim-milter 2.4.4 and Sendmail 8.13.8. One of the ways I'm testing
it is via the senderid.espcoalition.org testing service, e.g.:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
When I send a DKIM-signed message to this address, the web-based report
tells me:
DKIM-Status: The algorithm rsa-sha256 is not supported (This signature
appears to be from an older draft of the standard)
Here is the DKIM signature:
DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=simple/simple; d=christianbook.com;
s=relaydkim; t=1202314148; x=5497281443;
bh=DLQNdQgnJP6xfHXZ9V9uYyh

b=pGF

vgyanhJ4U9/Bb3KDniitCVn0syOuHkGMnM=
If you would need to see additional headers, I can send those to you
off-list. (The host I'm testing DKIM on is different from the host I'm
sending this message with.)
>From reading the DKIM RFC, it looks like rsa-sha256 is the preferred
algorithm, so I'm not sure why using it would be an error message.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Peter
