CONFIGURING AND RESTARTING POSTFIX
===================================

(1) Configure postfix to use the new dkim-milter:

  (a) update the postfix main.cf:

      smtp_milters = dkim_filter_socket_definition ...other filters...
      non_smtpd_milters = dkim_filter_socket_definition ...other
filters...

      Use either or both of the above lines.

      The smtp filters handle mail that arrives via the postifx smtpd
server.
      They are typically used to sign mail received from authorized
SMTP clients.

      The non_smtp filters handle mail that arrives via the postifx
sendmail command.
      They are typically used to sing localy generated mail.

      The general syntax for listing sockets is given below
      and should be chosen to match the '-p' option used when dkim-
filter was started.

      unix:pathname
          Connect to the socket bound to the specified pathname.
          If postfix runs chrooted, an absolute pathname is interpreted
relative
          to the postfix queue directory.

      inet:host:port
          Connect to the specified TCP port.
          The host and port can be specified in numeric or symbolic
form.

      Additional information can be found at
http://www.postfix.org/MILTER_README.html

(2) Restart postfix

      /path_to/postfix reload
