DKIM can suppress the acceptance of forged mail, but it doesn't address the backscatter problem (unless the bounces are themselves DKIM-signed, or the sending domain claims they're supposed to be). A different technology called BATV exists which attempts to mitigate backscatter. We've also produced a filter which uses it, available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/batv-milter. -MSK ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
