There is an independent DKIM spec? I read that DKIM merely
combines DomainKey
with IM verification.

Do you mean that the receiver failed to fetch the key from the
sender's DNS record?
Why does every message I receive fail the DomainKey test? I send
messages from
Yahoo and Gmail, which I would think would use DomainKeys correctly.
