Sorry for taking so long.  The problem still occurs.

I get no output with this command:

# strings /usr/sbin/dkim-filter | fgrep ar.c,v

What does the ",v" do in this command?

Here is the output without the ",v"

# strings /usr/sbin/dkim-filter | fgrep ar.c
dkim-ar.c

I've looked over the most recent libar source code but can't find any
code
path that would cause UDP descriptor leakage.  I want to make sure I'm
looking at the same copy of that file that you're using.
