Hi all...

I have spent a bit of time troubleshooting this error, and the
solution I stumbled upon doesn't seem to be mentioned in any other
threads about it.

Basically, all I did was remove the default "search" line from the
/etc/resolv.conf file.  I'm not sure why that fixed it, but it did.
