I just slapped a 1.2 alpha 1 tag on CVS HEAD for anyone who would like a tagged version of the code to work against. I do consider the current code base to be reliable, but things are likely to change slightly before the next final release. Please take that into consideration when using the alpha.
If there is a demand for it, I'd be willing to put up source and binary tarballs. - Dan
