If it's not deemed to be too late to make these kinds of changes, I'd suggest a required "generator" element or similar to be used to signal which implementation is responsible for creating the report. The value could be e.g. "proprietary" or "Dmarcify 2000 milter v1.2" then it could be possible for concerned netizens to send patches in the correct direction should problems be found.
I am aware that some senders put the software in the human readable mime part. Do you think it would be useful and worthwhile, or just hassle at this time?
