For reference and reproducibility, here's how I did it: # Get XMLSchema.xsd from W3C curl -O https://www.w3.org/2012/04/XMLSchema.xsd # Validate our XSD using xmllint and the W3C schema xmllint --noout --schema XMLSchema.xsd dmarc-xml-0.2.xsd Output: dmarc-xml-0.2.xsd validates # Validate our XML using xmllint xmllint --noout --schema dmarc-xml-0.2.xsd dmarc-xml-0.2.xml Output: dmarc-xml-0.2.xml validates The ABNF tool at https://author-tools.ietf.org/abnf give me 4 instances of: warning: %s"..." requires use of RFC7405 for the ABNF in this draft.
