I think Ale's point is valid, although I doubt that ARC can be saved. There are fundamental problems with indirect mail flows whenever an evaluator treats them as direct flows. Autoforwards should have more severe problems than mailing lists, but the problem is not noticed because of foolish filtering strategies. These issues were ignored during DMARCbis, so the foolish behavior and mailing list problem persists
