Looks awesome to me. Tried on various hardware, laptops, and servers from HPE, Dell, and work like a charm.
By far, HPE's servers are taking the most of it thanks to the numerous contributions they made over the past years. Even one of my Gen7 is showing improvements! Therefore, I was only able to test from SMBIOS 2.6 up to SMBIOS 3.4, so I can't test your latest additions to the project. Thanks for your work and maintenance burden, dmidecode gets better every year! As you said, having JSON output for the next release would be more than awesome to process dmidecode's output, which is by far the most advanced and up-to-date DMI decoding tool. I wish more vendors, and I'll push for that, would contribute to this project.
