Hi Frédéric,
The reading architecture-of-dmtcp.pdf is a high level overview.
In one of the technical details, it was necessary to bootstrap our
wrapper functions by setting an environment variable to indicate
the address of "dlsym" in libc.so. dmtcp_checkpoint computes this
and sends it in the environment variable DMTCP_DLSYM_OFFSET.
This is the meaning of the error message.
