Hi Ankit, I compiled and ran your program on my local setup with DMTCP master. I couldn’t reproduce the bug. I’m able to restart the two checkpointed processes — child1 and root2 — without any issues.
Are you seeing this bug on a specific system? Are you using the DMTCP master? Can you please check the status of the processes on the coordinator?
