Hello DMTCP R&D,
We are getting an error in restart as follows -
error : new/current break 0x60d000) != saved break (0x2ae40bcc6000)
[46000] ERROR at fileconnlist.cpp:359 in remapShmMaps; REASON='JASSERT(addr !=
MAP_FAILED) failed'
area->flags = 17
area->prot = 3
(strerror((*__errno_location ())) = Cannot allocate memory
Message: mmap failed
ld.so (46000): Terminating...
There is ample memory (several GBs) available to user at the point this error
is emitted.
dmtcp version is 2.4.5
Please comment on what it is about and what we can look into to debug?
