OK, this thread's gone in a different direction here, but just muting a track in Cubase doesn't stop it using the processor...
Muting *does* stop the VST instrument taking up processor, but you need to bypass any plugins/EQ you have on that audio channel using the channel mixer to properly cut down. Even if there's no audio going through the channel, the plugs are still doing the same work... (which is pretty crap in my opinion, but there you go). Why doesn't the performance bar go down when all but one audio track is muted? Why is the midi sequencer still look like it's designed on an ST? Look at Reason for christs sake - that's a program where form AND fuction are as important as each other. I think i'm gonna re-install my pc... :((( --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
