I checked the emu website and found out that there was a E4XT without
"ultra" produced since 1996 till 1999 when the ultra series came out.
I don't think it is a E4XT ultra but anyway did those older series like
e6400 and E4XT (no ultra) have those z-plane filters u guys talk about
everyday?
i think i'll take it home so i can check it out and bring it back if it
sounds shitty.

how do those upgrades work? is it a chip they send to u or is it a firmware
update via scsi or so?
