As much as I respect the Mtlhdz label for it's stance on quality music - they are allegedly
known as being one of the slowest to pay their artists for their material. It's rumoured that many of the artists that were once their bread and butter won't release with them because of payment issues. However these issues may well have been sorted though as this was some time ago. However it is also allegeded that many of the newer artists to have been signed to the Mtlhdz label recently do so with the knowledge that they may not get paid - but do so because they can add the Mtlhdz tag to their list of labels they've releases on - and that gets DJ bookings. Look at what it's done for Invaderz, Marcus Intallex, and a slew of others whom were doing top notch tunes for years - but only after their signing to Mtlhdz blew up.
All speculatory - you decide what the truth is.
Either way it still would be nice to see Mtlhdz back some quality American DnB.
I think it would help the US producer scene get a needed kick in the ass.
I'm more interested in RAM's new label: "Killerhertz" though...

I had heard from Jordana (187) that Goldie was planning on starting a metalheadz in the U.S. Anyone have any info on this?
