Well I did a very simple loop of drums and bass and mixed them down, burnt
the result to CD and tried it on a few other systems.

I can safely say all the hype surrounding monitors is true, my mixes have
improved 100%.  It works pretty well on all systems unlike my previous
efforts which just sounded horrible.

The Asolute 2's were a good buy.
