bloody hell, that's a big file. good thing i just got ADSL!!! hooray! the first thing that struck me was the nice clean production. sounds very clear and there's great use of the stereo field.
i would say that the breaks sound good but need to be a little higher in the mix. great use of pads and atmospherics, well varied, but a little overwhelming due to the breaks not being loud enough. overall an impressive track, but i would look at the following areas: breaks - too quiet, and it sounds to me like they're panned to the left a bit..? bassline - don't like the sound you've used, it sounds a bit cheap and not very interesting atmospherics - too loud nice composition, keep em coming ez, mattrick www.sequential-recordings.co.uk * ----- Original Message ----- From: "Attila Gl" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 6:58 AM Subject: [dnb-prod] The wellknown topic: Opinions please! > > Hi! > > The first time I show you some music : > > http://members.iinet.net.au/~wilcox1/audio/Chord-Polar_Lights.mp3 > > or > > http://www.ingyennet.hu/~ezsias/Chord_-_Polar_lights.mp3 > > The first link is faster from the UK.
