Are you using a proxy server at work for internet
connection? If so, the server still needs the Real Audio
servie running/port opened (depending how it's set up). As
mentioned tough, the first step is also downloading the free
real audio player if you haven't done this already.

Hi

Does anyone else have trouble listening to MP3 tunes at
work?

I can only listen to wav, aiff or the links on the drum and
bass Arena
Listen pages using Windows Media Player - i can't get the
ram files or php
ones to work at all. Winamp can't work them out....
There doesn't appear to be a firewall at work - any one else
had this?
Cheers

Dan

it's a piece of piss. even a complete beginner could get a
basic page made
in about an hour i reckon. all depends how flashy you want
it to be!!!

for html, you probably already have frontpage express which
is basic but
will do the job. dreamweaver is much nicer.

yes, you can save wavs / aiffs / just about anything to mp3
/ just about
anything else using cool edit.

mp3s are compatible with windows media player.

there are tons of resources available to help u out, just do
a google search
for 'html tutorial' or something....

good luck,

mattrick
