This machine is probably very expensive. Although this technology is nothing new. The Kingston dubplate machine has been available for some time, for the hefty price of around $6,000 USD (don't know about how much it sells for over in UK). This Vestax machine (according to HTFR) will cost 8000 and the cutting stylus will only last 20 hours, so these machines are obviously geared towards either very seriously professional musicians with thousands and thousands worth of equipment, or your typical spoiled brat w/ rich parents. I would be interested to hear though if anyone has had any experience with any of these "amateur"vinyl cutters, what they sound like, if its a good investment, etc.
