that looks very nice... looks very much like the 01v (particularly in terms
of physical design) and if it'd been available when i got my 01v i would
have seriously considered it at the time.

but for the basic unit w/out any optional i/o cards, i assume its just a 16
channel (w/ 8 extra i/o per optional card). is that right??? so it'd
probably be around the 1700 mark with 2 adat cards and 32 channels.

it would have been nice if the 01v could take a second i/o card to take it
from 24 to 32 channels, but i suppose i'll just have to suffer ;)

i also like its pots with the leds around them... but on the other hand you
can link up 2 01v's to get 48 channels (if you've got the $$$s ;) which isnt
mentioned about the behringer. also the behringers effects/dynamics section
doesnt look as flexible as the 01v (at least from the little information on
the web site). it just says they have a "delay function" but on the 01v you
get 2 global fx which are selectable from various types inc reverb, delay
etc. also the dynamics on the 01v gets you loads of possibilities inc gate,
ducking, compressor, compander etc

ph.
