What apps do you use with your EMI 2I6? I use BPM Studio 4.2, PCDJ Red 5.1, and Traktor 1.6, the only app that works well with it is Traktor, and you can scratch in Traktor too! I get these little skips in my live mix, when cueing up songs on another deck in most of the programs I use. Traktor's skips are really small, but they are still there. This really sucks for CD production because my mixes have little skips in them. I run it all on a Dell 1.3 GHz laptop, 256MB of RAM, 30GB HD, pretty much well above their system reqs but the EMI 2I6's output still skips. I have the new drivers for it too! I suppose I can attribute it to inefficient coding of the DJ apps....but I think I'll have to stick mostly to vinyl for now.
