Yeah, I can see how that would work but if you wanted to increase the bpm of
a song from say, 120 to 180 bpm over a minute.. You'd have to make 60 1
second sound files and stick them all together!! Way too much work for me
!!! ;)

I don't want to sound all preachy coz at the end of the day each to his own
and it's none of my business... but... 
You really do need to hook up Cubase or Logic or something.. You can use all
the DirectX plugins in Cubase too (on individual channels etc.. as well).. 

Nice idea though! Keep em coming!

right, that's what i'm talking about. separate songs for the bpm changes.
and then after you export all the .wavs into soundforge for the composite
.wav, you can scrap the other ones and keep the reason songs because
their such small size files.

i got the software, but don't have the monster pc to handle all the stuff.
though i just
upped me RAM so i'll be able to do the Cubase stuff.

i was just trying to figure out a quick alternative because i haven't
learned Cubase yet.

the other advantage with using Sforge would be the use of all the dx plugins
i could use.
