First of all, I'm not a kid. lol Second of all, you must be confusing CMedia, the "good" onboard sound, with AC'97, the shit ass onboard sound. The CMedia (on Soyo's mobo in particular) has 5.1 support with digital optical and digital coaxial ins & outs. It's not a piece of shit but of course it cant come close to the performance of something like a Hammerfall.
Third of all, "frying your motherboard" by simply installing a sound card? That's just preposterous. No comment on that stupid shit. FINALLY, Please no more telling me that I should go out and buy something I can't afford. I'm just trying to do the best with what I have. I didn't ask for suggestions on which sound cards are good....I already know about those. What I'm freakin asking is for peoples methods on recording a perfect, zero quality-loss .wav file from a track on fruityloops. ----------------------------------------------- Kyle "DJ KB" Baumann (( www.mp3.com/djkb )) ----- Original Message ----- From: "reg cannibis" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2002 12:59 PM Subject: [dnb-prod] ((WARNING)) Steinberg Project Card > Ok it's like i don't know how to install a damn sound card, but get this.
