But to be thorough, > follow the manual removal instructions on the vil.nai.com page for this > virus i included above, that will get rid of it for good. > Make sure you have this Micro$oft patch installed: > http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/q290108/default.asp right, i went through that process of deleting all those files, i booted up in safe mode and managed to delete KERN32.EXE KERNEL32.EXE KDLL.DLL KERNEL32.EXE (in the "runonce" folder) i couldnt find these ones where specified (i dont know if that matters or if it means they werent there)...
