Hi,

Just read that Shimon interview, man, he's one lucky b*stard (as i sit here
at work thinking of tunes in my head, whilst trying to write a
report)....anyone able to suggest doing a combined snowboarding and D+B tour
is luckily not living in the real world...
Anyway, heres my query, once I have my mix settled down I usually record my
tunes to either a tape deck for the car stereo test or a MiniDisc if its all
good and finished.

Problem is, my Alesis Studio 32 mixer only has 2 main outputs with inserts
which goes to the amplifier, which leads to cable mayhem and a not very
direct audio route when recording.

I was wondering if anyone uses an audio splitter device that allows you to
plug in e.g. a stereo source input (from the main mix) to then duplicate it
into 2 (or more) stereo outputs to allow you to route your stereo mix to a
variety of destinations eg. CDR, MD, tape and amplifier, all with the same
source signal and at the same time - like a mixer in reverse.

Does everyone else do this?

Cheers

Dan
