James,   Probably have to remap in the A3000 - but its quite easy since all you have to do is press the knob on the Edit / Key Range page and then press the key on the keyboard to tell it which key/key range needs to be assigned. Theres a automap function on my A3000v2 that automatically maps consecutive samples to the next key - however, I guess its only for samples recorded using the sampler (not imported using SCSI) and I've a feeling that automapping would be the least of our worries given that trying to to edit breaks using a 2 line dot matrix screen would probably drive you insane....   After using Cool Edit and floppies, I've been using Wavesurgeon and SCSI (same as Recycle but only 50 squids) and I think theres a function on it to automap, but I haven't tried it out yet. I keep meaning to give it a go, but I've been lost in my SN2 for the past few weeks...i'll have a look next time...
