this is pretty much the same email i wrote to
swift, but i havent heard any feed back so i was hopeing you guys could hel
me out.
Hi im just writing to you like many other artists
to get a few ideas of production equipment. Now hear me out, im 18 ive been
spinning for 4 years now 2 hip hop 2 drum and bass, and i just spun at my
first club in january. I just begun taking classes at full sail in orlando fl
for a degree in recording arts, studio production. Now im really into drum and
bass, the shit rocks and im trying to take it to the next step,
producing.
I havent had a chance to talk to any of the
teachers at the school yet, but i wanted to hear from you, a person who has been
producing drum and bass for many years.. im just starting so i dont know the
tech specs but this is what im thinking of running.
An apple g4 platform running reason software,logic
audio, fxpansion dr-008 drum program, reaktor 3.0 an controlling the midi with
either an oxygen midi controller or a novation k station..
i would really like to hear your feedback on these
items, and maby some tips of your own..
