Hi Mat, Errrm... Me either!!! The mixer has Rubber feet so even if you put it onto a grounded metal table it still wouldn't work.. I don't pretend to know a great deal about how these things work but I really don't see how that's possible!!!
My parents have a couple of friends who are top notch when it comes to electrics so I'll ask them when I get the chance.. Hi Nick, I just asked some guys at local music stores. They all tell me that the grounding is done via the case of the mixer. So given the fact that the mixer is standing on something "grounded" it should be grounded aswell. Doesn�t convince me much, but.....
