Just use your ears for the frequencies, I don't find spectral analysis telling me as 
much 
as those old fashion organic recievers on the sides of my head.
If it sounds good, it probably is :)

One thing you should be watching though is the db metre, be sure to get a decent one 
as a 
plugin if the software you're using doesn't have it built in. Fruity has one now, and 
though it's a bit slow, it shows when you're clipping, which is what you need.
