Subject: [dnb-prod] Drum'n'Ass bassline production :)

Hey!
I'm new to this group so maybe I missed that but I'm
looking for some input on bassline creation. I don't
mean the subbass or the half-ass farting basslines
they make these days but the reece, ripping basslines
aka AlienGirl or Locust. I'm not looking for exact
recipes (unless you can provide them!) but rather info
on everyone's individual approach. What
software/hardware you use? Do you have any techniques
or hints you can give away? I've been using Junglist
Vst plugin and I got some interesting sounds but I was wondering if
there's a different and/or better way...Hope to hear from someone
soon....

Raf
