How come noone suppplied REASONS why they would be useful. This is my pick- its atonal in a lot of ways but is a prime example of the genre's greatest contribution- Photek is a master of using percussion as both melody and rythym, creating tension and release through intricate drum programming. Granted the style isn't much in use anymore, but this track ranks as my personal pick for the height of DnB artistry. ---
