I picked up a z1 for 600 USD, hold out and look around more, theres better
deals for sure. The Z is great for DnB and probably one of my all time
favorite synths. You might want to look at the waldorf Q also, it's a pretty
versatile piece of gear. Look at the micro Q. I use it for pads,  and
amospheric effects mostly, but you can get some ripping basslines out of it
if you work with it a bit. It's also trance right out of the box if thats
what yer lookin for.
